So here I sit, one week and one day later and I am up to hobbling about on my own. My family has taken on the dog walking for me and so far “the Peach” seems to be her old self. She still looks at me when they say ” you wanna go for a walk?” so I feel like I am missing all the fun out there.
I hope to be back on the trails next month and look forward to seeing the sights. For now, I will keep checking this blog to find out what’s happening out there.
And thanks for the sympathies and good cheer sent my way. RB

Wow, terrible story. Ruth must still be in shock. I hope they gave her lots of good pain meds.
Everytime i hear a story like this its always a lab.
Anyway send Ruth the O’s sympathies, and we will pray for her recovery.
